COOK/ I found this recipe for Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls from Bakerella last week and I pretty sure I groaned on the spot. How much of a superstar would you look like making this for your guy/ girl in the morning?

MAKE/ Guys I love Anthropologie like any other home obsessed blogger, but their prices… seriously? I’m no Bill Gates. Athro has been inspiration for bloggers everywhere to create their own homemade version of items. Seriously just search Anthropolgie Knock Off… you’ll be amazed at what people have made. That being said I love the idea of this makeup brush holder, and totally think it’ll help me keep my bathroom more organized, but I’m not paying $34 plus shipping for a hunk of wood with some holes drilled into it. Totally a DIY, and probably would make a cute gift for your girly friends…
WANT/ I seem to have a harder time with the “want” category. I’m always struggling with this one when I come to write this post. Which is hilarious because I can walk into Home Depot looking for only Caulk and some duct tape and walk home having spent $160. How the eff does that happen each time?
Back to topic: I love to decorate my home with some very classic basics, and then use colors in pillows and accessories to make it more “me”. Along with that I add a LOT of quirky accessories. I’m a weird Quirky person and I want my home to represent that. So yeah- I have a tequila sign in my dining room, a bright yellow pig to hold jewelry, a Buddhist head in my office and these eyeglasses pillow covers would make a fun addition to my bed.
NEED/ I’m sure every baker/ cook out there has a specific tool they always reach for when in the kitchen. Mine happens to be a bright yellow silicon spatula that I’m constantly washing. I’ve been on the hunt for ones EXACTLY like it for over a year now, and it seems everyones moved onto this new “style” shape. I don’t want that new shit. I like the old style. So when I found these that are VERY similar, and the Middle size of this one that is almost exactly the same I immediately added it to my cart for the next time I’m in the mood to spend money. Which, who am I kidding? That’s pretty much every damn day…
WOOF/ Marley is pretty awesome at playing with her toys, which is great for Mom when she needs to catch up on blog posts, both writing and reading. I have noticed though that she loves any toy that can roll away from her best. She has this large orange ball that she loves. Loves it even more if you kick it around like playing soccer. So I’ve been thinking the next time I get the urge to buy her a new toy I might look into some type of actual soccer ball. Maybe a kids one? This one’s pretty cute too, although I don’t know if it’s big enough to last…
